Hi! I’m Erin.

Hi! I’m Erin. I’m a writer, editor, and content leader living and loving in the Hudson Valley.

I cut my teeth working at a scrappy, independent magazine just before the economy went bust, publishers shuttered, and print (temporarily) died. Like so many young journalists of the era, I pivoted to digital. I scored an entry-level editor role at an emerging website – and got a front-row seat (and an education) to the evolving digital media ecosystem.

Over the last 15 years I’ve honed my craft as a digital content and communications strategist and editorial leader, heading up content for the #1 health information website in the U.S., garnering six-figure sponsorships for original editorial programs, leading and mentoring high-performing teams, collaborating with Fortune 500 companies to craft high-converting marketing copy and collateral, and consulting with mission-driven organizations to help synthesize their brand voice, tone, and messaging to build reach, attract funders, and drive growth.

I’m deeply interested in healthcare, mental health, parenting and maternal health, the explosion of wellness modalities we’ve seen over the last decade, and how each intersects with the diverse elements of identity and lived experience. Throughout my career, I’ve championed initiatives that bring more of these stories to light, disrupt harmful narratives in healthcare, and help spark meaningful conversations.

My insights have been featured in Salon, Business Insider, and Authority Magazine and at industry events led by premier publications like Ad Age, Advertising Week, and Digiday.

Born and raised in the Rust Belt Midwest, I made my way to the Bay Area just in time for my Saturn return. After 11 years in beautiful Oakland, California, I traded the Sierras for the Catskills, where I live with my husband, daughter, and the sweetest elderly pitbull you’ll ever meet. Most days you’ll find me immersed in a podcast, chasing after my spirited toddler (send help), or exploring sections of the Empire State Trail.
